President’s Message: Summer Strides at Son-Aero

I don’t know about you, but I love summer. It feels like a fresh new start; the long days of sunlight make it easier to get outside for new activities or to complete long overdue tasks around the house. No more is this busy season apparent than here at Son-Aero. Our summer has already been filled with exciting new developments:

• our new website launched in early June;
• the business development team has been out visiting customers, making new acquaintances and participating in trade shows;
• and by the end of August, we will have completed an Ethics Mentoring Program that one of our Tier 1 customers selected us for.

With our aim to improve procedures and technology within our manufacturing facilities, we have made early strides toward our year-end goals, as well as upgraded and added modules to our MRP system. We’re now finalizing our strategic plan to guide us through the next few years.
