Team Member Spotlight: Robert Chavez

Get to know Robert Chavez, Procurement Manager.

Q: How long have you been at Son-Aero?

Robert:  12 years.

Q: What life experience do you think has helped you grow in your role at Son-Aero?

Robert: I would say playing and coaching team sports have helped me grow in my role here at Son-Aero. As a player, it taught me teamwork, discipline, setting both individual and team goals, and that hard work does pay off. As a coach, it has taught me how to deal with various types of personalities and lead them to success by teaching and explaining what is needed to achieve our goals as a team.

Q: When it comes to the company values of Excellence, Respect, and Integrity if you had to pick only one that speaks to you most which would it be?

Robert: I would say it would be Integrity because I’m still a believer in “A Person’s Word is Their Bond;” you need to have honesty and morals to be part of a team.

Q: What’s your favorite part of your new position?

Robert: Being able to lead the Procurement Team to help achieve our company goals.
